This is possibly the most entertaining thread on here at the moment. Maybe I should get out more. Although that's what led to the death hangover I have now. Maybe I'll stay in more and just watch. Carry on...

I think Karvol is giving bgy1mm a bit of a hard time.   Without his literary efforts, I would never have known how to spot a devil in a crowdl.

"Red tights, pitchfork, horns. You'll recognise him by his beard when you see him."

Hang on a moment bgy1mm, don't you sport a beard yourself?

In a crowd not a crowdl.   One day, we may get an "edit post" button.

    bgy1mm:

If the facts can't be established or agreed on you can't proceed to arguing about what they mean, agreed.

     That's nice.

    bgy1mm:
But only if those facts are relevant.

Which they are as teaching is a posteriori knowledge

    bgy1mm:
Which in the context of I doubt very much that weebecka is actually fabricating teaching experiences and the class in Cumbria, but I haven't tried to prove that.

Weebecka's teaching experiences are rather like the WMD that the US and UK forces tried to find in Iraq. They look great when she is presenting the evidence, but closer scrutiny seems to make them disappear into thin air.

Take all of our feelings about weebecka's teaching out of the equation, and the only impartial anaylsis we have of the teaching in her school is from Ofsted.

    They were not complimentary.

    Karvol:
bgy1mm who has so much on his plate - trying to disprove Darwin, publishing a refutation of the works of Dawkins,

Dawkins himself quoted J.B.S. Haldane on how this could be done, in The Blind Watchmaker: find fossilised rabbits in the pre-Cambrian.

So go on bgy1mm - get your shovel.

Sure there will be some, but the response you will get will certainly not address the question/point raised.

I hope and feel Becka wil address the points I made when she makes it back ......from ....Wilko I believe.
