It's not a first for me. When I suggested to a friend that "dropping out of society, man" didn't really work if you were still claiming benefit I was told I may as well start up a concentration camp because I was as bad as Hitler for persecuting people.

Blimey! I suppose Aldo called me a Nazi once. But you can't really count that, because everything that comes out of his mouth is crap.

Planetx said I was in the "Griffin Gang" because I said in my experience Muslims wouldn't be offended by toy plastic pigs, and the Early Learning Centre was stupid for removing them.

    Does this count?

I know it's slightly off the topic of this thread but that really intrigued me, Gary... I would agree with you and can't imagine why anyone would think that Muslims would be offended by a toy pig or even a real pig.  I have no idea if pigs are normally found in the middle east so I did a google search for 'pigs in the middle east' and found this:

"Archaeological evidence from the Middle East indicates domestication of the pig occurs as early as 9,000 years ago, with some evidence for domestication even earlier in China. Figurines, as well as bones, dating to the sixth and seventh millennia BC have been found at sites in the Middle East. Pigs were also a popular subject for statuettes in ancient Persia."

So being 'offended' by pigs is a relatively new thing then...
