    DangerMouse, I generally disapprove of personal attacks on internet fora such as this*, but I have to say that that was pretty damned funny! Brilliant stuff!

    I approve the latest logo suggestion. Can I suggest that we hereby form of the first neo-Luddite terror cell of the "Al-Gebra Radical Fraction Faction", and that we arm ourselves with 1930s mathematics textbooks and electromagnetic pulse weapons in our bid to rid the world of dumbed-down curricula and every form of pseudo-educational modern technological gimickry?

    P.S. *Friendly jibes such as this one are however quite okay as long as the other party is capable of appreciating their funny side and have not had their humour glands surgically removed

    I'm fairly familiar with python but that one was a bit obscure for me. Mind you I was a babe in arms when they were originally shown.

    Not at all, but I can't help noticing you still haven't answered Beta's question.

    I've taught quite a few GCSE groups through the two years.  Plenty of statistics, all meaningful, all good.  Actually my very first group through as and NQT weren't so hot but they weren't aweful either.
