So I didn't submit any of them for deletion.  Not one.  But I see some have gone.  It makes it easier for you to lie about what was in them I suppose.

I notice I was quoted as saying some things about her I didn't say here by the people who outed my identity.  I don't know where they got that stuff from or even if its genuine.  I can't get it deleted because they weren't my posts.

I am not a liar and have never lied about what you have posted, I do not ask to have posts deleted. I don't believe it's a democratic thing to do. I did however, suggest that you might want to report your own posts to be removed to prevent the HMI from pursuing a case with you. I was trying to be kind but you are so arrogant that you can not see it.

As for me lying about what you said in them. Plenty of people saw them and can remember what they said. They were derogatory. Some people do actually keep others posts you know, so I bet someone could pull them up and check.

I met Mr CG while still at school

You said you married him before you did your A-levels.  Did you?  Or did you lie?

    curlygirly:
    Please retract that statement

    Which statement?

The one where I said you do unpleasant things and then accuse others of doing them?

I wouldn't expect you to be aware of it curlygirly, not if you had a pathalogical condition.

So of course you would demand apologies for my pointing it out.

Do you acutally work by the way or are you just watching your computer?  Would your governers and your staff be happy if they could see what you do all day?

It would be interesting if we asked the moderators to reveal just who has asked for their posts to be removed on this thread and this and other forums, wouldn't it?
I don't think anything's been removed from this thread or other forums. It's other threads on this forum which are the issue. Isn't it curlygirly? And yes it would be extremely interesting.

Unlike you, weebecka, I know that posts have been removed, because the moment you started lying about your posting history and threatening people I wrote a shell script to archive your threads. I know exactly what you've posted and to whom and when.

(And I'm not a sad git, it took me about five minutes to do)

As an example, on my archive, the "Interpreting Carol Dweck" thread has 364 posts, Post#364 being one where you wish people a merry Christmas.

Yet on the TES currently, this is Post#354.

As you are such a wonderful mathematician I'm sure you can work out how many posts have been removed.

Fascinating though this epic ding-dong battle is (for all the wrong reasons), can I humbly request that you please show some respect for yourselves and for the other readers of this forum, and take this unbecoming childish squabble to personal email, or better still, restrain yourselves and put an end to it now?

It seems that you are both now so throughly preoccupied with trying to tear each other's hair out that you have become completely oblivious both to the discussion at hand, and to the fact that there are likely to be many readers who will have formed a very poor impression of your character and may not take anything you say in future seriously.

It has been narrated by Abu Huraira (ra), that Allah's Messenger Muhammad (saw) said:

"The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger."

You should really try reading properly.

I said I had been with Mr CG for almost 22 years, that does not equate to being married. Do try to read what is written. I did not lie.

You accused me of "hoovering" want me to quote the post?

You've also accused me of lying - want me to quote that post too? I can if you like.

I have not "hoovered" by which I presume you mean asking mods to remove posts.

I'm not the one who does that weebecka, that is you.

I have not lied on TES, ever.

I do not have a pathalogical condition and  I think you are very rude and rather childish to suggest it.

Some of your posts, and certainly your pms are questionable but I have never suggested you have a pathalogical condition, how arrogant you are.

Other posters' responses to you would indicate that I am not alone in finding you rude, arrogant, a liar, and a poster who ascribes actions and views to other posters which clearly they do not hold and have not posted.

    weebecka:

Pot, kettle. I'm not the one posting in the wee small hours. Yes I work. My socks off. That's why I've been successful in turning failing schools around (unlike some) and also work for the LA supporting other schools.

I am entitled to breaks though. What I do in those breaks is up to me.

My governors are more than happy with how I spend my time. I've transformed their school with the support of a great team I've built, if I want to spend 5 minutes on TES in my working day, they're fine with that.

Some of us manage to work full time, have succesful marriages and happy families, do consultancy work, have successful friendships and relationships and post on TES.

Like I said weebecka, don't tarr us all with your brush.

    Assalumalaikum Sabbir

I know I saw my O level booklet from 1960 somewhere recently and noticed the same thing; far less straightforward questions, but we were Grammar School kids and expected to reach a certain level.  If I find it I will scan it, but where can I send it.

What I really want to know as I read all the comments is:  Doesn't UK have graded maths classes?  In Australia NSW we have Advanced, Intermediate and General Maths to "O" level standard and then various Units at "A" level or HSC.  In this way, those who require academic maths have a chance to be pushed and those who need basic survival maths can do that too.  I haven't taught in Australia for a few years but I have a horrible feeling it may have changed there too.

I teach in Egypt and if you really want horrific maths come here.  All is rote and the kids are given topics well above their cognitive level in a really horendous environment - 4 kids to a desk for two and 60 - 90 in the classrooms which often are like lecture halls!  Blackboards are painted on the uneven wall! So count your blessings too British Maths teachers.

Me ? none. I don't believe in it. If you make a mistake by posting something stupid, admit it and carry on.

Now, if you didn't hold those views, then you'd be alone.
