in very challenging mixed ability secondary school

Just to put it in to context your last Year 11 cohort had 3% students statemented.

That sounds like leafy suburbia compared to schools that I have taught at (and others who are even further down the challenging spectrum).

There's also a resolution issue ; there's no point in having a high resolution display if it has to be pocket sized, notwithstanding processing speed / battery issues.

The gizmo will clearly be so whizzy that a bigger 360 degree screen will unfurl around you and immerse you in the action.

    Yes ..... definitely :)

Is this 'very challenging' as in 'borderline C grade' ?

Weebecka finds this forum challenging. I think that tells us all we need to know.

I'll let you know when the solicitors letter arrives!

You seem to have forgotten that the TeS terms and conditions state that you should not name or identify schools or people working in the education sector

I didn't know that.  It's hidden right at the bottom.  But I do now so I won't name the offending person again.  I suppose the implication here is that I must also conceal my identity or I will be unable to refer to my personal experiences.  What a shame!

I have pointed it out to you before. You really should read the terms and conditions before you post.

Also you might want to consider asking TES to pull certain threads/ posts unless you want to find yourself in receipt of a solicitors letter yourself.

Hey guys, I've been away a few hours, I've come back to find 20 or more additions, only they were really off the original thread and something of a spat.

This was a great thread early on, although the mathematical content went up over the head of teachers like myself, in primary.

I was really interested in the issues from the original posts, can there be a cease fire on the differences here which have become more focussed on the personal rather than the professional?

Or perhaps this thread has run its course and should be laid to rest down the pages?

Shalteir, the title of the thread is "ravings of a lunatic" so it could be argued we have been completely on message.
