I remember the first time this school went into special measures.  I was teaching at a school up the road.  The school in question was renowed for the quality of what it did.

Our head walked into briefing one day just hanging his head saying that an inspection team had handed the school a list of something like 60 reasons why the school was a failing school, and that they were about to inspect it to prove their point.  It's was clear from his body language that he believed it was a stich up and that he was horrified.

He gave us a day-by-day account of what was going on through that inspection.  The school diproved all but three of the assertions and was then put into special measures.

Well it seems to have now though.

Honestly I could have done without yet another battle right now.

So they got dumped in special measures and there was a cull (the first of many) and one of the first to be sacked was the head of maths (who later became a personal friend when we worked together at another school).

She was a hugely respected and very successful head of maths. I had applied for a job working for her and was really upset not to get it (but there were 8 at interview - all strong candidates because everyone wanted to work for her).  The only plausible reason they gave her was that 'when you go into special measures one of the heads of the core three subjects has to be sacked'.  She was close to retirement so they chose her.  Nothing to do with what was best for the kids or the school or what was humane to anyone.  And nothing ever has been since.  Except under the care of the good head (who was dispatched).

IT'S GONE.  The 1920s thread in maths that is of course.

You know the treatment where what you say is constantly changed / deleted / distorted and presented back to you.  Where scores of people line up to tell you that you're stupid and to tell you that you are mentally ill.

That's agains the Geneva convention that is.

    It contravenes human rights.

    I suspect it was not B a r r 1 e s biological family that wanted things covered up.

But if they do, they should just PM me - I will give them my contact details and talk to them and then drop it.

Shhhhh!  We're not allowed to mention that name.

(Don't understand the rest of your post, but just thought I'd better mention the above).

As I recall you were the one throwing the mental health allegations around weebecka, when you suggested I needed a pyschiatric assessment. But you're very good at selective memory aren't you- what a good job autismuk has archived the thread. I'm sure he'd be happy to pull up your posts to prove it.

interesting that you throw around accusations but you can't accept that you're guilty of all the behaviours of which you accuse others

If you want to quote the Geneva convention maybe you should think about all the posts you'veafe ( whichnof course are archived.
