Perfectly summed up DM. Here we have a poster who claims she is an expert in behaviour management and has been successful teaching. Yet the evidence, from her half baked frankly laughable strategies to the fact that she's no longer teaching, has never taught anywhere longer than a couple of years and the fact that her last school was in special measures for a long time and then closed, suggests otherwise.

here we have a poster who is used to feeling superior. But she is posting alongside other experts in the field if education. Who are still doing the job. Succesfully.

Her response has been to call into question their credibility and to try to besmirch their good names. I think you hit the nail on the head, she's spiteful. I'm sure it's more about her own personal inadequacies.

Your presence is of no benefit to anyone (including you).  Please leave us alone.

You see DM the obvious conclusion from your behaviour is that my presence here is of no benefit to you.

Same goes for a few others.

My interest in understanding how disucssion forums work so that they can be more effectively used to enhance democratic consultation is not such a bad thing is it?

Well I suppose that depends on whether you are interested in open, democratic consutation.

    Or whether you aren't.Wink

I've been using this website for almost 7 years and posting fairly regularly for the last 2 or 3. I've given and been given advice. I've shared effective strategies for school improvement ( you know, schools can come out of special measures, they don't have to close) . Given careers advice up people thinking of making the leap into leadership. Through pms I've supported people through some really challenging situations. I've also been involved in political debate and banter. Only one other poster has been as rude to me as you, and everyone knows he's a total loon, he makes me laugh though.

Sometimes your blatant lies are funny, often I think they're most unfair to innocent posters who have made the mistake of disagreeing with you.

This has nothing to do with democracy. It's to do with the fact you're a liar and a bully.

I used to enjoy coming here for a spot of light relief after work becka.   I would contribute my twopence to discussions about issues in mathematics education and try to help people with ideas and resources for their lessons.

I do not want to waste any more time squabbling with someone who thinks it is amusing to deliberately cause confrontation and then excuses this idiotic behaviour by saying it is all for the greater good.

One wonders if that's why her classes became " challenging". The kids at my school would probably be too polite to do anything but if she behaved in school the way she had on this forum I think several of my parents would headbut her. Which could be quite amusing to watch .

Hmm  who would that be then? Confused

Actually to cause confrontation for the sake of amusement would be relatively benign compared with what's going on here.  Wouldn't it?

I've come across a few people who have taken their spats outside the forums, making reports to police, employers and other agencies. They have always turned out to be complete fruitcakes.

That's hilarious! What did she expect Sarah Brown to do? Big Smile

You'll have to ask her but if she doesn't desist I'm going to give Norma Major/Edwina Currie* a call.
