If you went into a difficult school shouting "look at me, I'm fantastic" and continually were dishonest with the pupils you'd struggle as well. weebecka: But when you've previously taught well in very difficult situations you don't take it personally because know it's not you, is just a reflection of the situation and you know that their judgements will change as things settle down.
No, it is you. If you'd have (for example) admitted any error at any time, (apart from your period generic meaningless apologies) it wouldn't have mattered. No-one else gets this cr*p. There are far worse arguments on here about political views for example, but no-one gets as globally criticised as you do, even the nuts of the extreme left and right. Plenty of comment on their views being wrong, nothing about fantasists or liars, no attempt to drive them from the boards. Actually there was one, about four or five years ago. A poster came onto ICT and was obnoxiously up herself a la weebecka. Unfortunately someone (well, me) discovered a post made by the same username to a forum called the "No panties or knickers" forum, dedicated to enjoying the lack of certain undergarments. A limerick competition promptly followed, and the poster disappeared. But that's the only other one ! weebecka: I've been through this so many times it just doesn't phase me. I just look round and survey the scenery looking carefully to see who is deliberately prolonging the problems and wondering about their motives for doing so.
If you are continually going through it why do you assume that you aren't causing it ? If your car brake pads continually wear out is it likely to be every other driver's fault ?
