I understand that you now feel further action is necessary for this crime and await with dubious amusement my punishment.

The "crime" of misusing my username is not my main concern.  The impact that you have had on this forum is.  The fact that you then hold yourself up as an expert in how to use internet forums effectively is beyond a joke.

    weebecka:
I have to say you do seem just a little thin skinned.  Oh no - I see more court action pending for the insult......
Oh look - another example of hypocrisy.

I also remember you using the name of JJ.  Any other poster I saw using it was quoting something previously posted by you.

There were 2 other instances of you misquoting my username after I objected.

The rocky horror night?  That was the evening I was apologising for.  There only was one evening when I played around with usernames wasn't there?  Oh well I thought it was a laugh and an improvement on what had been going on.  I didn't know you were female then so perhaps meatloaf wasn't the most flattering rocky horror character for you.Embarrassed  Anyway I'm sorry, you're sensitive about your username.  I didn't realise how sensitive.  I'm sorry again.

Now what's this about me misusing your username in the message?  I didn't use your username at all in it.  Strange. Hmm

It's not a question of being sensitive.  It's a question of being irritated by deliberate rudeness.  You've said sorry before and continued to do it.

Well you addressed me as something - I'll leave it to you to recall what.  Not my real name and not my username.  Given what you claimed to be apologising before it rather undermined it.

You've been misusing peoples usernames all over the forum. It's a classic example of bullying behaviour. Someone trying to assert themselves over another, in what appears to be a trivial way so that when the poster objects you can play the " I didn't realise you were so sensitive" card. It certainly happened on a number of ocassions over a period of several days.

Aside from that, BS asked you to stop, in a very nice way, she told you she didn't like it. You continued. Inspite of her repeated requests for you to stop. You're just plain rude.

How on earth do you "know" that bombay sapphire?

Interesting I see another post has changed on the thread curlygirly is linking to!  The changing posts are the really nasty ones.  The disappearing ones are bad (as on the Vorderman thread which now reads very differently to what was written).  The disappearing threads are grim too.  A reliable aide memoire is such a useful thing.

You know bombaysapphire those initials are a read giveaway, but you have no hesitation in using them do you?  Just as autismuk has no hesitation in naming the inspector earlier in this thread.

It is hard to get used to being on the other side of the 'them and us' rules you know.  I am doing my best.

It's normal on forums to learn just by copying the behaviour of others with the oversight of moderaters working consistently to clear guidelines.  Usually moderaters also play a role in protecting those who are acting in an inappropriate way from embarassing themselves.

    Er - cough.

That was accidental bombaysapphire.  A mutual friend gave me your real name, or so both he and I thought, which seemed more appropriate for private correspondance.

It seems he made a mistake.

Again - I offer my apologies.  There was no sarcasm or slight intended in any way.  It was a sincere apology.

Because I had previously seen them posted by you.

Given that the name is on this thread there seemed little point in being very careful at this stage.

In the six years I have been posting on the TES forums I have never seen a post change.  I have seen posts & threads deleted but not changed.

Perhaps that's why they keep deleting your threads?

So why does that logic apply to you and not to me?

Because it was you who posted the hmi s name on the original thread. Several posters warned you that it wasn't wise. You wouldn't listen.
