"NCETM is managed in real time by a director who moderates and encourages which helps.  It's different to TES because it's more of a community and so is ATM, just a different community (which overlaps)."

TES is as much of a community as posters wish it to be.

    eg

I've met and stayed with 3 different tes posters (2 on several occasions for several days at a time; the other I hope to see again soon) - as a direct result of posting on tes as there is no other way I'd have met them.

Three posters have stayed with me (only one of them is in the group above) - two on several occasions.  Again, I'd not have met those people but for tes.

I've been to several meets and am in touch, off site, with several posters I met there (and some I've not met at all) and I've attended the funeral of one member I considered to be a friend despite never meeting her.

More evidence, if any were needed, that weebecka really doesn't understand this site or its members.

Shame on me for suggesting ATM is more of a community.  Just because the member all know each other and meet up.

How many ATM babies have there been?

    How many ATM couples?

Know your audience, weebecka - it's advice you should take.

Some posters here will never meet any others but there are many who have met and who have formed friendships, relationships and associations of other sorts.  Which you'd know if you'd bothered to do a wee bit of reading before deciding the site needed facilitating.

    Because it is the truth?

Er nope you'll find it isn't.

The vast majority of my posts are in the cafe, secondary forum and primary forums.

One of us is cracking up then becks becaused this page says you have no posts in any of those forums?

    https://www.ncetm.org.uk/~Rebecca_Hanson

Perhaps you have another name you use?

    Confused

There are 450 registered members on the ATM Forum and a total of 183 posts (20% of these posts belong to weebee).

The front page of this site says there are 995,280 TES members (many duplicate names of course) and I would imagine we typically accumulate 183 posts in little over one hour!

There must be more than 183 posts on all of the hidden forums surely?

There have even been TES Maths meets.  I have been to two.  There are photographs of us in a pub in Birmingham surrounded by balloon sculptures crafted by Maths126.

seren, you are 236 times more prolific than the entire membership of ATM!   weebee's talk isn't going to last for an hour even if she reads aloud every single ATM forum post there has ever been!

I take it back.  I was thinking NCETM rather than ATM.
