Tandy:ahem! I'm not sure it is entirely accurate to say that you wrote that microsite, and rather unfair to those who did. Please don't take credit away from people.
Mark one of the worst things about being banned was not getting the opportunity to reply to this message from Saturday afternoon.!
Of course I would be delighted to give credit to those who helped me.
Are you sure that's okay? - these things have always been so unclear. I've often linked to things I've written for the NCETM before and that's clearly been okay. But can I name others who helped? I suspect I would need to ask them which would be difficult as I don't know who the editors were unless you can tell me otherwise given your previous status.
In researching pedagogical strategies appropriate for TAs I was delighted that others had a discussion on a conference call with me. And of course there were those who edited and gave feedback on the site. Another associate wrote the case studies to which this site links.
But Mark why on earth are you suggesting that I did not write the Microsite? Apart from the case studies, as far as I can tell, it is as I wrote it with the help of some editorial comments. Blooming hard work it was too. Has anyone suggested otherwise to you? I'd be interested to hear what on earth you've been told if so.
Given the sensitivity of issues at the minute I have no wish to draw further attention to the work I have done for the NCETM. However it is entirely inappropriate that someone who was a director for them at the time I did this work is misrepresenting what I did.
