    jabed:

I have to go to work.

Out of interest, is that as a mathematics teacher?

Of your 75 or so posts (as I make this post) I cannot find many that actually relate to mathematics or its teaching....oh 'my bad' there was the one where you teach G grade GCSE students A level maths.....

    time line

Becka the Clown arrives > talks trash > gets in hot water > 'disappears' > you appear and manage to post more on some deluded e-pedagogy-expert than anything else

Is Eastenders sh**te at the moment?

Can we do more realistic maths chat?

The only replies I ever get say that it is entirely at the discretion of TES.

Here's hoping they exercise that discretion more frequently from now on.

Hmm, now have a reply saying I had a 24 hour ban but still unable to give any reason why. Repeated requests as to whether there are any conditions under which repeatedly abusive posters receive bans remain unanswered.

Well, I think you are very lucky not to be banned for libelling people by name, and very lucky not to be banned for posting Mods PMs on the forum.

If you are going to write cr*p about how wonderful you are and how you only post nice things, don't forget I've archived your posts and know exactly what you did and didn't write.

I had one of those some time back.  It was for arguing with a moderator and was intended to let me cool down about a particular issue.  I'm grown up enough to understand - if not agree - with their decision.

I have even more worries about you if you really cannot think of one thing you have done to merit a ban of any sort.  Previous posters who took their gripes about TES posters on to another site got banned by ip address.

...oops that's rather blown the theory that there are posters who are immune from being banned.

Not surprising. There have been a few recent cases showing that forum owners are responsible for what's on their forums to some extent.

Obviously you can't control what is written, but you can react to complaints and remove potentially libellous stuff rapidly. Even that won't completely protect the 'publisher'.

if I was the Mod I would ban Becka.

Not for the strange stuff or the arguments, but for the continual and regular "naming (real name) and shaming" of certain people who work in education*.

If she had done this once and then admitted it was wrong and didn't do it again, fine, a mistake, but it happened many times, after various posters had pointed out it was wrong, and she apparently refuses to admit that this was wrong.

Thus she's a significant risk. (Especially if she's going to promote her doings on this forum)

    I haven't done the autismuk.

You quoted me as having done that on this forum. I've no idea how you constructed your post to made it look like I'd criticised an inspector on this forum but you did and I haven't.

You have the files so you know and yet you continue to lie about this. We both know you can as you are not banned from TES no matter how many times you are reported either.

I have no desire to criticise individual inspectors. The issues here are to do with the way Ofsted acts as a system. I've said all this many times before and I shall doubtless have to say it again as you continue to spout lies about me unsanctioned.

    This is a blatant lie.

    And yet you did.  Repeatedly.

It's a complete mystery to me why you think you can pretend you didn't and that you might convince many posters that they did not read what they read.

You take lying to dizzying new heights even for TES.

And the lies keep on coming. Autism uk if I were you id be sorely tempted to raise a certain hmis awareness regarding a number of posts on this forum.

we all saw them and you archived them, there are plenty of witnesses and I'm sure tes will keep am archive to prove what she said. I think it's time for her lies to stop.

TES have my full permission to publish everything as I have said many times. As you know I have written to them repeatedly asking for the deleted threads to be reposted.

I recognised that there is no point in reporting either of your lies or abuse as you remain unsanctioned.

Autismuk - do you ever actually write about autism? I would love to talk to you about that. In the Carol Dweck thread I didn't mention that Barry Hymer encouraged me to publish some of the work I have done in this area.

    I really don't know.

There's an infamous piece of Fan Fiction called "My Immortal" - it is supposedly based around Harry Potter. It is long, drawn out, and truly mind numbingly awful. There are endless conversations between the author and other people, stories written by the author's editor.

No-one knows the author's real name.

There is a big debate as to whether this story is real, in that it's a story someone really wrote, or it's a joke - a parody of all the worst of the fan fiction on the web.

Reading it leans you towards the side that it's a joke. It's so incredibly bad you can't believe that someone meant it.

The problem is, if it isn't for real, it's a troll, then someone, or a group of people has spent an enormous amount of time forging the story itself, all the linked ones, and everything else.

    Weebecka's a bit like this.

You read this sort of cr*p and you think - this person's having us on, they can't be for real, it's a huge leg pull.

But then there's all the NCEMT blogs, the Twitter postings, the other forums and the huge amount of nonsense written on this forum - which isn't funny (mostly) just wierd. If it's a joke it's the most boring and insane joke ever.

    Incidentally, Becka:

"From the second she walked in to Eheside, all the staff knew that J*** J**** had no relevant experience or insights into schools like ours (unlike some of the other inspectors and we saw a lot, but J*** J**** was our HMI).  The direct conesquences of her intervetions where truly horrific and made is much harder for us to deliver the results which brought us out of special measures."

everything, except of course the asterisks, are yours.

I think you are correct DM.
