I'm with the original post. (I actually don't like the silly pictures, but I appreciate that most posters find DM's contributions of this kind very amusing). At first it wasn't a problem to avoid posts I didn't like as it was generally kept to one thread, but I now I find comments being made on completely irrelevant threads and as a result I'm becoming a much less frequent visitor on Maths. I find myself waiting for the more aggressive elements to become bored and move on and leave us as we were. I thought I was alone in feeling like this, but this thread has made me wonder if I'm actually not alone in really disliking the way things have become.

I wouldn't mind so much, but it was Rebecca Hanson that put me off the ncetm boards.

I suppose beta it's also worth reassuring you that the dynamics of the 'careers' of inspectors and school improvement officers will substantially change when the Ofsted enquiry reports back in March.

I'm sure the issues on this forum will stop then anyway.

I hope you find this reassuring - it is intended to be.

although I know seren didn't find it so.  But then some have more to fear in the dark than just redundancy.

    Smile

Why don't you go there and tell her exactly why that was then brookes.  She will listen.

Sometimes she has caused offence to individuals because words which have been actually been targetted at others and other issues have hurt them.

    She's keen to make amends.

Hi David, that looks interesting but there's not much info there.  Where can we find out more?  Perhaps you could tell us more here?

In return here's a thread which might inspire you.

Did you know I once same in the dead sea with a teacher called David.  He was our deputy head.  He had a photo taken of him reading the TES while floating on his back and emailed it straight back to all the staff.  Yes

I never read anything offensive on there Rebecca, I just found your posts a bit full-on. I don't understand your motives for behaving as you are on here. At first you came across as enthusiastic, if a bit over-bearing. Now you are constantly going out of your way to be offensive to some and irritating to others by spamming threads. As you've not hidden your identity it all feels a bit like you're pressing the self-destruct button.

Like she listened to my objections to the offensive misuse of my username.

So who is the misuse of my username targetted at?

    weebecka:

    She's keen to make amends.

As I say to kids in the classroom.  "Don't say you are sorry, show that you are sorry and stop doing ......"

    weebecka:

I do understand that this forum has been a vital place for the career progression of many meatsapphire,

but we don't all want to be inspectors.

in fact we could abbreviate that.....

we don't all want to be inspectors.

I really don't understand the relevance of this to your rudeness.

I am not an inspector.  I am a Maths teacher.  I have never claimed to be anything else.
