    brookes:
I I don't understand your motives for behaving as you are on here.

I suspect weebecka is "between jobs" as they say, or perhaps she is writing the first great forum novel of the century.

Either way it is easy to just ignore her threads.

One does wonder if she possesses a life outside these fora but, then again, it is none of my business either way.

Now as you well know Karvol, I lecture at MMU.   I also freelance.

See here is a microsite I wrote last year.

    https://www.ncetm.org.uk/resources/27310

Now why on earth would you say otherwise?

I did find the organisers of the Ofsted enquiry had been suprised by the polarity in the views expressed.

Surprised and interested to understand that reasons for that polarity.

I suspect they've been questioning those who are incredily pro-ofsted in a slightly different way recently

and listening more carefully to those who are suggesting alternatives.

ahem!  I'm not sure it is entirely accurate to say that you wrote that microsite, and rather unfair to those who did.  Please don't take credit away from people.

Tandy why don't the microsites give details of the authors? Surely it would be simple to give them credit?

I don't know, sorry.  I guess it would be cumbersome for them to do so.

bgy1mm, sabbir and becka may collectively be as mad as the contents of my broom cupboard but they have as much right as anyone else to visit and post here.

brookes, Nazard, Polecat (and several others I expect) may find their activities (and that of anyone who engages with them) irritating but there are many other people who enjoy the banter.   Looking through my private messages for the past few weeks, I have received unsolicited contacts from 14 different TESsers who rarely or never post on here who are quite entertained by the banter.  If you don't like it, report it or ignore it.   I have no doubt things will settle down in time.

I have not counted curlygirly as she spends every evening soliciting contact.

Actually I do not. You don't appear on any of their staff lists - and you say you have been there for a year.

You may very well freelance, and I have no reason to doubt you. Although I know from friends who freelance in other industries, there is a lot of time spent updating ones C.V. "between jobs".

Why on earth would I say otherwise? Hmmm... You may very well ask that question. I have noticed that your powers of analysis are not as finely tuned as they perhaps once were.

As for the second part of your message, I do believe that is for someone else.
